A permanent position for a young researcher just opened at IN2P3-CNRS, with a priority affiliation to IPN Orsay in the field of experimental hadronic physics at Jefferson Lab (, Section n° 01: Interactions, particles, nuclei, from the laboratory to the cosmos, N°01/02).

The Department of Physics at The George Washington University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning as early as Fall 2019 in Experimental Nuclear Physics. The search is open to all areas of experimental nuclear physics, with a focus on Jefferson Lab and the Electron Ion Collider (EIC).

The Department of Physics at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden has a postdoctoral position available in nuclear theory starting in the fall of 2019. More information can be found at:

The application deadline is on Dec. 31st, 2018.

The University of Virginia Department of Physics invites applicants for a Research Assistant Professor position. We seek an experimental physicist with a strong record of research in nuclear physics exploiting solid polarized targets. The successful candidate will take the lead in the design and construction of innovative cryogenic polarized targets in collaboration with the existing Solid Polarized Target Group at the University of Virginia, while developing future research directions.

We are looking for a young and motivated colleague, who would like to join our team at IRFU/DPhN and Ecole Polytechnique. The two institutions are located in the Saclay-Palaiseau area south of Paris.
