Job Postings

There is an opening for a postdoctoral research position working at the University of York within the new hadron and medical physics research group. The project will involve development, testing and simulation of new PET detector prototypes made from CZT detector technology in collaboration with an industrial partner (Kromek Ltd). There will also be opportunities to contribute to our pure science research area as part of the appointment.

We wish to bring to your attention the attached faculty position in nuclear physics at Saint Mary's University. Please encourage qualified colleagues
to apply.

The Medium Energy Physics Group at Duke University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position.
The research activities of the group focus on the SIDIS program at the CLAS12 experiment at Jefferson Lab which just started data taking at JLab’s new 12 GeV beamline. The successful candidate is expected to contribute significantly to the physics program as well as the commissioning of the CLAS12 detector.

The Nuclear Theory Group at Ohio University anticipates hiring a post-doctoral research associate to take up a position starting in the Fall of 2019. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics (or anticipate having a Ph.D. in hand by September 2019).

The nucleon structure group at the Institut de Physique Nucleaire d'Orsay (IPNO) in
Paris-Saclay University invites for applications for a postdoctoral research position.
The group's research interests are focused around the study of the quark and gluon
structure of the nucleon and nuclei at the Jefferson Laboratory (USA). Recently an
important program of research has been developed around a low energy recoil
tracker (ALERT) that has been approved to run with the CLAS12 detectors to carry

The Carnegie Mellon University Experimental Quark Interaction (Medium
