Intermediate-Energy Nuclear Physics
The Catholic University of America
Washington, DC 20064

The Intermediate-Energy Nuclear Physics research group at The Catholic
University of America (CUA) invites applications for a postdoctoral
research associate position which can be filled immediately.

Our group is active in the Hall B (CLAS) and Hall D (GlueX)
collaborations at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility
(JLab) in Newport News, Virgina, with particular interest in
photoproduction and spin physics. We have responsibilities in the
design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of the tagged
photon beam facility in Hall D.

The research associate is expected to reside at JLab and to assist with
the construction and commissioning of the Hall-D tagging hodoscope and
with the analysis of photoproduction data from Hall B. Hardware
experience is highly desirable.

The appointment is initially for a term of one year, with renewal
possible by mutual agreement.
