Faculty position in Nuclear Solid State Physics at KU Leuven

FACULTY POSITION
Experimental Nuclear Solid State Physics
Department of Physics and Astronomy
KU Leuven, Belgium

The KU Leuven invites applications for a full-time faculty position in nuclear solid state physics, focusing on local probing of nanomaterials. The candidate will set up a research program to investigate structure and functional properties of materials at the atomic level, to a large extent by locally probing the material’s properties via (nuclear) interactions of intense particle beams, e.g., making use of radioactive probes, energetic ions or neutrons, photon pulses from a synchrotron or free-electron laser… or any combination. The rank of the appointment depends on the qualification of the candidate.

Further information on the position and the application procedure can be found in the attached document. The deadline for the application is Sept. 30, 2013.
