Nuclear Talent Courses - INT Seattle

Dear all (some of you may receive/have received this message more than once), happy new year first of all.
We wanted to let you know that the Nuclear Talent initiative will this year run two courses (www.nucleartalent.org). These are

1) Course on Nuclear forces at the Institute for Nuclear Theory in Seattle, July 1-July 19, 2013, see the link http://www. int.washington.edu/PROGRAMS/talent13/. For more information, see also
https://groups.nscl.msu.edu/jina/talent/wiki/Course_1

2) Course on Theory for exploring nuclear reaction experiments at GANIL, Caen, France, July 1-July 2013. For more information see also
https://groups.nscl.msu.edu/jina/talent/wiki/Course_6

Due to scheduling constraints we are unfortunately running two courses simultaneously. We apologize for this inconvenience, but we were not able to find an optimal solution. This should however not hinder you to recommend your students to attend these courses. The first course was run last year (course 9, see https://groups.nscl.msu.edu/jina/talent/wiki/Course_9)
and was attended by 22 students.
We would thus like to ask you to forward this information to potential participants and obviously to forward this information to anyone you feel could be interested.

Best wishes for 2013, on behalf of the Talent steering committee, Morten

p.s. For 2014 three courses are planned, one on theory for exploring nuclear structure experiments (course 5), one on Many-body methods for nuclear physics (course 2, most likely in January-February 2014 at the
ECT*) and a course on Nuclear Theory for Astrophysics (course 7 at Michigan State University in May/June 2014). If you have inputs, ideas etc for courses, you'd like to contribute etc, please let us know.
