We are pleased to announce the 2012 TRIUMF Summer Institute on Fundamental Symmetries and Fundamental Neutron Physics for students and early-career postdocs. The TRIUMF Summer Institute will take place August 6-17, 2012, at TRIUMF on the University of British Columbia campus in Vancouver.

The primary topics are Theory: The Standard Model and Beyond, Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics, Fundamental Physics with Muons, and Fundamental Neutron Physics.

The program includes the Third Summer School on Fundamental Neutron Physics, which includes lectures on neutron interactions, optics and sources as well as the particle physics of the neutron. Students and post-docs active in and interested in Fundamental Symmetries are encouraged to consider attending.
There is the possibility of limited travel support for US students in conjunction with the Fundamental Neutron Physics Summer School. For more information and application information, visit the TRIUMF web page.
