Grade 7: £32,267 - £36,298 per annum

The University of Glasgow seeks to make an appointment to pursue a world-class research programme in nuclear and hadron physics, which will strengthen and enhance the work of the Nuclear Physics research group in the School of Physics and Astronomy.

Possessing specialist knowledge of hadron or nuclear physics and excellent nuclear physics experimental and analytical skills, you will carry out a range of research activities and functions within academic environments of the highest national or international quality.

The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.

This position has current funding from 1 January 2014 until 30 June 2015 in the first instance with the possibility of extension.
