Tenure-track assistant position at CSU Dominguez Hills

The Department of Physics at California State University, Dominguez Hills invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor to begin in the Fall 2015 semester.

A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field is required, and postdoctoral experience is preferred. Current research at CSUDH includes experimental high-energy and nuclear physics, and medical applications of physics.

The successful candidate must be able to teach the full range of physics courses offered at CSUDH, enhance our reputation in research by establishing a research program involving undergraduate students, mentor and advise students, develop educational laboratories and lecture demonstrations, and help the Department develop a new M.S. degree program in Physics.
