Postdoc position at Temple University

The Physics Department at Temple University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in experimental nuclear physics.

The successful candidate will participate in the ongoing experimental programs of the Temple University nuclear and particle physics group at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. Our group is leading efforts on the measurement of the Generalized Polarizabilities of the proton, on the search for the LHCb Charmed 'Pentaquark', and on the SoLID experimental program. The successful candidate is expected to be resident at Jefferson Laboratory and will have the opportunity to work on the commissioning and calibration of detector systems, running and analyzing experiments in Hall A and Hall C, as well as on the development of new physics proposals.

A Ph.D. in nuclear or particle physics is required. Applications should include a CV, a statement of research interests and a list of publications. Applications and three letters of recommendation should be sent vie email (sparveri@temple.edu) to Professor N. Sparveris. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
