Assistant Professor in Nuclear Physics

The Department of Physics at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) seeks an outstanding individual with interest and expertise in experimental nuclear physics, who shows promise of becoming a leader in the field, for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning in August 2017. The successful candidate is expected to lead an active research program in experimental medium energy nuclear physics. In addition, the candidate will be expected to teach physics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, establish and maintain a highly productive research program that includes both undergraduate and graduate students, routinely publish results of scholarly work, compete successfully for external funding, and participate in department, college and university service activities. Candidates should have a PhD in physics or a related field.
