The Nuclear Physics Group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign invites applications for a postdoctoral position. The successful candidate will work on the electromagnetic calorimeter construction and testing for the sPHENIX Experiment being planned at RHIC. In addition, the candidate will be able to work on other experiments on which the Nuclear Physics Group collaborates for physics analysis. This includes the ATLAS and COMPASS experiments at CERN. The successful candidate will have a recent Ph.D. in experimental high-energy nuclear physics.
