Postdoc Position at Indiana University

The Physics Department at Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a postdoctoral position with its experimental hadronic physics group. The research activities of the group focus on hadron spectroscopy with an emphasis on the search for and study of nonconventional mesons. The group has built and commissioned the forward calorimeter for the GlueX experiment at Jefferson Lab. The postdoctoral position will be based at Jefferson Lab, and the successful candidate will be expected to take a leading role in the analysis of data that have recently been collected with the GlueX detector as well as coordinate continued maintenance and calibration of the forward calorimeter.

A Ph.D. in experimental high-energy or nuclear physics is required. Starting date is negotiable; however, it is expected that the appointment will start on or before September 1.
