The Department of Physics at the University of Regina invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the experimental hadronic physics group to work on the GlueX experiment in Hall D at Jefferson Lab. The research activities of the group include hadron spectroscopy with an emphasis on the search for and study of nonconventional mesons and rare eta decays.

Applicants with a recent Ph.D. in experimental nuclear physics, medium energy, or high energy physics are encouraged to apply. A solid experimental background, including experience with data analysis and simulations is desired. In addition to physics analysis, the successful applicant will be expected to take a leadership role in the monitoring and calibration of the Barrel Calorimeter detector.
