Please find below the advertisement for a three year postdoc position in ion trapping and mass spectrometry with the Edinburgh Nuclear Physics group available from October 2024.
Further details and application link can be found via our online portal (https://elxw.fa.em3.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/…).
Application deadline is the 7th of June 2024.
A tenured professorship (W2) in the field of hadron physics is now being filled at the Ruhr-Uni-Bochum together with GSI.
The postdoctoral fellow will be a member of the “Nuclear Structure” research team at LPC-Caen. The group’s work focusses on the structure of nuclei far from stability using direct reactions. The present position will support the group’s investigations of neutron-rich nuclei at the RIBF facility at RIKEN (Japan). In particular, the postdoctoral fellow will be a member of the STRASSE and SAMURAI collaborations.
A 2-year postdoc position in nuclear theory (description of neutron-star matter with ab-initio
techniques), starting in October 2024, is available at the theoretical
physics department of IJCLab, Paris-Saclay University, Orsay, France.
Applications have to be submitted via the CNRS website

where more detailed information can be found. In case of questions,
please contact me directly.
CEA Saclay is opening a staff position in detector physics.
Please find the announcement in attachment.
We strongly encourage applications from candidates with interest/experience in
studies of parton nuclear structure (e.g., with ultra-peripheral collisions).

A unique opportunity exists for a faculty hire jointly between the https://pa.as.uky.edu Department of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky (UK) in Lexington, Kentucky and the https://frib.msu.edu/ Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) located at Michigan State University (MSU).
The Medium Energy Physics group at Mississippi State University invites applications for a
Postdoctoral Research Associate position. The group has research interests that include studies
of nucleon structure and QCD dynamics in nuclei at Jefferson Lab and Fermilab, such as the
precision measurement of color propagation and fragmentation processes, the study of color
transparency phenomenon, and the partonic structure of bound nucleons. Additionally, the group
is interested in studying sea quarks distributions, the EMC effect, and the parton energy loss with
