The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Ohio University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in experimental low-energy nuclear physics beginning in August 2023. We seek a colleague who will initiate an independent research program that addresses forefront questions in nuclear astrophysics, nuclear structure & reactions, and/or applied nuclear physics. Strong preference will be given to candidates who plan to employ the on-campus 4.5-MV tandem accelerator (http://inpp.ohio.edu/~oual/) as part of their program.
