The program includes lecture series and special topical seminars by internationally-renowned physicists. The lectures are designed to provide a broad and pedagogical grounding across the major areas of nuclear physics, both experiment and theory. The school consists of ten days of lectures; the weekend in the middle of the school will include a social day activity as well as free time to explore Bloomington. Further details of the program and confirmed lecturers are provided on the website.
The school can accommodate 50 applicants. For accepted students, the school will cover local room and board with dormitory accommodations. Participants will be responsible for travel costs, with a small number of support scholarships available.
Review of applications will begin April 9, with the portal remaining open until all spots are confirmed. For questions, please reach out to the local organizing committee at nnpss24@iu.edu.
The school is made possibly by the generous support of the National Science Foundation, as well as Brookhaven National Laboratory, the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams, Jefferson Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Indiana University.
