PDF position at Duke University

The medium energy groups at Duke University invite applications for a postdoctoral research associate.
The successful candidate will make important contributions to the EIC R&D program where the group has significant responsibilities for the Cherenkov based PID detectors, including but not limited to simulation and reconstruction software development.
Additionally, it is expected that the candidate will take a leading role in the physics program of the CLAS12 detector at Jefferson Lab,
The position can be based at either Duke University or Jefferson Laboratory. 
 
We are looking for candidates who can make creative and important contributions to our program. A PhD in experimental nuclear physics or related fields is required. The initial appointment is for one year, which can commence immediately. Based on mutual satisfaction and continued funding, the possibility for extension exists for a maximum of two additional years.
