PDF position -- University of Glasgow, UK

The Nuclear and Hadron Physics Group at the University of Glasgow, UK, seeks a talented candidate for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position, to make a leading contribution in the Electron-Ion Collider project. The job will be focussed on the development of simulations for physics processes as part of detector R&D for the design of the Electron-Ion Collider, the construction of which is due to begin in 2023 at Brookhaven National Lab, USA. It will involve close collaboration with colleagues in other institutes. The successful candidate should have an experimental background (and a Ph.D. or equivalent) in nuclear or high energy physics and familiarity running simulations and analysing data. The position is initially available for one year, but there is a possibility of extension.
