Post-Doctoral Research Associate with GWU

The Physics Department at George Washington University (GWU) is seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with experience in experimental nuclear/particle physics to work with the Jefferson Lab Group (consisting of Professors A. Schmidt, W.J. Briscoe, and I. Strakovsky plus 1 postdoc, 5 graduate students, and Jefferson Lab affiliates). The successful applicant will be expected to take a leadership role in our upcoming experimental program at the K-Long Facility (KLF) in Hall D at Jefferson Lab, as well as contribute to our other experimental efforts within the GlueX and CLAS collaborations. We are looking for a candidate who will also enjoy the opportunity to supervise and mentor our graduate and undergraduate students working on these experiments. Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. in nuclear, particle or other related field of physics.
