Postdoc position in Medium Energy Physics at LBNL

The Medium Energy group in the Nuclear Science Division at LBNL is looking for a postdoctoral fellow. The group has an active research program at Jefferson Lab (JLab) and is preparing for the future Electron-Ion Collider (EIC). Jefferson Lab activities include high-energy studies of nuclear structure at the hadronic and partonic level, measurements of nucleon form factors and two-photon exchange, color transparency, SIDIS measurements, and tagged measurements of nucleon and meson structure. Opportunities to propose and execute experiments, analyze data, and perform phenomenological studies to address important questions in hadronic physics. In addition, the group is involved in developing tracking for novel detectors at JLab and the EIC, detector simulations and detector R&D, and in developing future physics programs.

For further details including application information, please follow this link. We will begin examining applications on Sept 10, 2024, but will continue to accept and evaluate applications until the position is filled.
