Postdoctoral position (1), hadron theory, Institute of Modern Physics, Huizhou campus, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Applications are invited for postdoctoral positions at the Southern Center for Nuclear-Science Theory (SCNT), Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Huizhou city, Guangdong province, China. The center was founded in 2022. Its current interest covers most physics topics related to the High-Intensity Heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF) and future upgrades. In particular, postdoctoral positions are opened for applicants in the areas of QCD, hadron physics, nucleon structure physics, muon physics, neutrino physics, vortex states physics, new physics, et. al. (both theory and experiment).

The appointment is for two years and can be prolonged for a third year upon performance,and it is expected to start from now on or be negotiable on request. Successful postdocs will be paid on an internationally competitive level, ca. 300k RMB per annum, and will also get support for traveling and attending workshops. All postdocs are eligible and encouraged to apply for grants to the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
