Postdoctoral position at Temple University
The Physics Department at Temple University invites applications for a postdoctoral associate position in the field of experimental nuclear physics.
The Temple University nuclear physics group is seeking outstanding candidates to be involved in its Jefferson Lab 12 GeV science program. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead some of the upcoming experiments in Hall C lead by the group and to be part of the group's research activities within the CLAS12 collaboration at JLab. Other group activities focus on future opportunities with SoLID in Hall A at JLab and at an electron ion collider (EIC), as well as on the MUSE experiment at PSI.
A PhD in nuclear or particle physics is required. The candidates should send a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a research statement, and arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent to Prof. Nikos Sparveris (sparveri@temple.edu).
