Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to make the First Announcement for the Twelfth International Topical Meeting on Nuclear Applications of Accelerators (AccApp15).

Please see the attached announcement, which lists the suite of topics for AccApp'15 with the associated topic organizers.

The 2015 National Nuclear Physics Summer School (NNPSS) will be held from 15 June through 25 June 2015, at the Granlibakken Resort near Lake Tahoe. The summer school is open to graduate students and postdocs within a few years of their PhD (on either side). Lecturers will provide pedagogical reviews and discuss future prospects covering the full range of topics in experimental and theoretical nuclear physics. Additional seminars on special topics and applications will also be given. The full set of topics, lecturers, schedule, and application instructions are available on the website.

First Bulletin – Alan Astbury Memorial Symposium

We are pleased to announce that the Alan Astbury Memorial Symposium will be held at the University of Victoria on April 27-28 this year. This two-day meeting will focus on Alan's professional interests during his career. Topics will include physics at the high-energy frontier, and the production of isotopes for nuclear physics and medicine. Dr. Rolf Heuer, CERN Director General, will present the inaugural Astbury Lecture, a public talk on the night of April 27th.

The 12th International Conference on Hypernuclear and Strange Particle
Physics (HYP2015) will take place at Tohoku University in Sendai,
Japan, from September 7 (Mon) through 12 (Sat), 2015.

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite graduate students and postdocs to attend the 25th TRIUMF Summer Institute (TSI) which will take place July 13-24, 2015, in Vancouver, BC. This 2-week summer course will be devoted to "Theory for exploring experiments in light and medium-mass nuclei".

Dear colleague,

please find attached the first circular of NDM15 (Neutrinos and Dark Matter in nuclear physics). It would be great if you could distribute this circular to laboratories, universities and other institutions that you think host scientists that are interested in participating in the Symposium. At the same time we urge you, your co-workers, your junior staff and your students to participate and enjoy the endless days in the Lake District of the Summery Jyvaskyla.

Sincerely yours
