Prof. Jeffery W. Martin

The Center for Frontiers in Nuclear Science (CFNS) was set up to support scientific activities aimed at the U.S. Electron Ion Collider (EIC).  CFNS established a Joint CFNS-institutional postdoctoral fellow program in 2018/2019, which has been very successful in supporting young scientists to work on EIC related activities at various institutions within the EIC Users group. Under this program CFNS pays 50% of the salary for a postdoctoral fellow (up to a maximum of 30k$) at a remote institution and $5k in travel support (to and from the Center) per year, up to a period of two years.

The Department of Physics and Physical Oceanography at University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a postdoctoral position with its experimental nuclear physics group.  The research activities of the group focus on precision tests of low-energy QCD and searches for new physics beyond the standard model via the light pseudoscalar meson decay measurements at Jefferson Lab.

I want to bring to your attention a post doctoral fellowship in the Stony Brook University's QCD/Spin group
The successful candidate will work on experimental efforts of the group at Jefferson Lab or/and the RHIC spin related topics at BNL.

Jefferson Lab is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to be involved in the activities of Hall B.

The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank, commencing July 1, 2022, or on a date mutually agreed upon. Outstanding candidates at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor may also be considered for a tenure-track or tenured position. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Fundamental Neutron Physics group at the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral position in experimental nuclear physics. The successful candidate will have a prominent role in the group’s efforts in their neutron beta decay efforts at the SNS and NIST.
