The Department of Physics at Carnegie Mellon University is running an open search for a junior-level faculty member. Candidates in nuclear physics with research interests that overlap with the Jefferson Lab 12-GeV program, the RHIC Spin effort, EIC physics program, and related area are encouraged to apply. The Department of Physics invites applicants for a full-time open rank faculty position in Experimental Nuclear Physics, beginning in August 2021. All qualified candidates will be considered, senior and mid-career faculty are encouraged to apply. The UIUC Department of Physics has strong and broad programs in nuclear physics. Scientists from all subfields of nuclear physics are encouraged to submit. The successful candidate is expected to have a Ph.D.
We plan to appoint at the rank of Assistant Physicist (equivalent to Asst. Prof). We may also consider candidates at the level of Physicist (equivalent to Assoc. Prof.). We will consider all applicants with a background in experimental medium or high energy nuclear/particle physics.

Carleton University is seeking an electronics specialist or Electronics Engineer to work in close collaboration with the experimental physicists on the development, testing and repair of electronics for use with particle detectors.  Please see the attachment for details.

Reporting to the Board, the Director & CEO is responsible for providing overall leadership to fulfill the vision and mission of TRIUMF. The Director oversees the operation of the laboratory, including its research program, its relations with member universities and with federal and provincial governments, its engagement with the national scientific community, its ties with other laboratories around the world whose interests overlap with those of TRIUMF, and its engagement with the public, both locally and nationally.
