The Department of Physics at Indiana University invites applications for a position in theoretical nuclear physics, subject to funding and approval for appointment beginning Fall 2014. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics or a related field at the time of appointment (August 1st, 2014). Candidates will be evaluated for appointment at the tenure-track assistant professor level at a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Spin-Isospin laboratory (Chief scientist: Dr. Tomohiro Uesaka), RIKEN Nishina Center, seeks a candidate to fill a research scientist position (tenure) starting April 2014.

The successful candidate is expected to lead research programs in nuclear physics and studies of r-process nucleosynthesis at RI Beam Factory, RIKEN.

INFN has just opened a call for 16 2-years postdoc positions in experimental nuclear&particle physics reserved to non-Italian citizens; the deadline for the presentation of applications is mid November.

The only requirement needed for applicants is to have obtained a PhD less than 8 years ago. People who are preparing their thesis are also
eligible to apply but they need to obtain their PhD before starting the fellowship.

Since there will be (many) more applicants than positions, a committee will later select the "best" candidates.
