Conferences and Workshops
We cordially invite you to participate in the 44th Course of the International School/Workshop of Nuclear Physics on the topic:
"From quarks and gluons to hadrons and nuclei"
The School/Workshop will be held in Erice, Sicily/Italy, from September 18 (arrival day) to September 24 (departure day), 2023.
We are excited to invite you to the 60th anniversary edition of the Winter Nuclear and Particle Physics Conference (WNPPC) to take place February 16-19, 2023, in-person in Banff, Alberta.
After a long waiting time we are glad to announce the new dates for the 17th International Symposium on Capture Gamma Ray Spectroscopy and Related Topics - CGS17. The conference will take place as in-person meeting in the time period 21 - 25 March 2022 in Grenoble in the MinaTec Conference center. The conference center gives us multiple possibilities to organize the event while taking into account all necessary sanitary regulations. In order to favor the cross discipline exchange, typical for this conference series, we invite everybody to participate in person.
The first "North American Storage Rings and Neutron Captures" Workshop will take place on June 28-30, 2021 using the Zoom and GatherTown
platforms: https://meetings.triumf.ca/indico/event/235/
The workshop will focus on scientific and technical aspects of neutron-capture reaction measurements using storage rings. More details can be found in the attached Circular.
Best wishes,
The workshop organizing committee:
The ExtreMe Matter Institute EMMI at the GSI Helmholtzzentrum fuer
Schwerionenforschung invites proposals for scientific events of
various formats, including Workshops and Rapid Reaction Task Force
meetings.
EMMI is dedicated to experimental and theoretical research in the area
of matter under extreme conditions of temperature, pressure or
density. The main research topics are:
- quark-gluon plasma, phase structure of strongly interacting matter,
- hadron structure and reactions,
The INT would like to continue its program of high caliber seminars, so we've decided to go online with them. Please refer to our website for upcoming S@INT seminars to be held via Zoom:

We are excited to announce the upcoming TRIUMF Summer Institute (TSI 2020) on Quantum Computing and Machine Learning for Science and Technology, to be held at TRIUMF in Vancouver, BC, Canada from August 3rd to August 14th 2020. The school is organized by TRIUMF, Germany's Helmholtz Association, Simon Fraser University, the University of British Columbia, and the University of Victoria.
We are pleased to announce that the 32nd National Nuclear Physics Summer School (NNPSS 2020) will be held from June 22 to July 2, 2020 at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Mexico City, Mexico. The workshop venue will be the UNIVERSUM Science Museum in the Cultural Area of the UNAM Central Campus. The School is organized jointly by Indiana University and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
