The 2025/2026 INFN Research Grant Program offers 20 (twenty) positions for research activity in Experimental
Physics. Please see the attachment for more information.
The Mainz Institute for Theoretical Physics (MITP) invites nominations for the MITP Senior Postdoctoral Fellowships in Theoretical Physics for period 2025-2028. These 3-year positions target experienced postdoctoral researchers in the fields of particle and astroparticle physics, nuclear and hadron physics as well as cosmology, who show a high potential for becoming future scientific leaders. Nominees should be scientists of exceptional ability and with a proven record of accomplishments.
The Medium Energy Physics Group at the Triangle Universities Nuclear Laboratory (TUNL), and in the Department of Physics at Duke University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position. The group has research interests which include studies of nucleon structure at Jefferson Lab, and at the High Intensity Gamma Source (HIGS) facility of TUNL located at the Duke University Free Electron Laser Laboratory, e.g.
The Medium Energy Group in the Physics Division at Argonne National Laboratory invites applications for a junior staff position in experimental medium energy nuclear physics. We are especially looking for candidates whose research program aligns with the 2023 Long Range Plan for Nuclear Physics, focusing on hadronic physics experiments at facilities such as CEBAF at Jefferson Lab and EIC at Brookhaven National Laboratory. We aim to appoint at the rank of Assistant Physicist (equivalent to a tenure-track Assistant Professor), with a start date as early as January 2025.
We are currently advertising a Fellowship position in experimental nuclear physics at the University of Surrey. This position is available for a period of up to 4 years in the first instance with the presumption of permanency at the end.
The Department of Physics in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible Postdoctoral Research Scholar position beginning in Fall 2024. This is a fixed-term, fiscal year (twelve months) appointment with no tenure implications, but with the possibility of extension annually based on satisfactory performance and funding availability. Candidates must be within four years from receipt of their doctoral degree.
he Hadronic Nuclear Physics Group at Florida State University invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to work on the GlueX experiment at Jefferson Lab. More information on the research group can be found at http://hadron.physics.fsu. The GlueX experiment (http://gluex.org) has collected an extensive photoproduction data set, which allows for a rich program of physics measurements. We seek a candidate with a strong interest in the GlueX physics program to lead physics analyses of this data.
