The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Georgia State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in nuclear theory focusing on QCD and the physics of the Electron Ion Collider. The initial appointment for this position will be jointly supported by the Theory Center at Jefferson Lab as a bridged staff scientist. The position will commence in Fall 2020. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and post-doctoral research credentials in Theoretical Nuclear Physics.

The Laboratory for Nucleon Structure (LSN) of the Nuclear Physics Department* at the University Paris-Saclay is looking for a postdoctoral research fellow to contribute to our ongoing activities. The new collaborator will take the responsibility of the analysis and interpretation of the Drell-Yan and charmonium production data collected by the COMPASS experiment at CERN, and will also take part in the ongoing activities in the laboratory. The postdoctoral term is for a minimum of one year, with an option for renewal.

The Department of Physics at New Mexico State University seeks applicants for a Tenure-Track position at the level of Assistant Professor in Experimental High Energy Nuclear Physics. The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate physics and establish an externally-funded research program directly involving graduate and/or undergraduate students.

The T-2 group (Nuclear and Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology) in the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory invites applications for one or more postdoctoral positions in Nuclear Theory to begin in Fall 2020. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in nuclear theory or a closely related field by the beginning of the postdoctoral appointment (but no earlier than December 2014 per LANL policy).

The Physics Department at Indiana University/Bloomington invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in experimental nuclear physics. In exceptional cases, candidates at more senior levels may be considered. Members of the IU experimental nuclear physics group play leadership roles in neutrino physics (COHERENT), QCD spin physics (STAR), hadron physics (GLUEX), axion dark matter (ARIADNE), and searches for BSM physics in precision measurements, mainly using low energy neutrons.

The Department of Physics at William & Mary seeks applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in experimental hadronic physics to begin in Fall 2020. You would be expected to establish an internationally recognized research program that complements and enhances the existing strengths in the department, which currently has 27 full-time faculty members, approximately 55 PhD graduate students, and a substantial number of undergraduate majors who actively participate in its various research programs.
