The Physics Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory invites applicants for a staff scientist position in the High Energy Nuclear Physics team of the Subatomic Physics Group (P-25). The team studies the structure of the nucleon, high-energy heavy ion physics, initial state QCD effects and gluon saturation physics. The team is currently involved in the PHENIX and sPHENIX experiments at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), the LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), and in SeaQuest (E906) at Fermilab.

The Department of Physics at Old Dominion University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position in theoretical nuclear physics beginning in Fall 2018. The successful applicant will work with one of the members of ODU Nuclear Theory Group (Profs. I. Balitsky, A. V. Radyushkin, R. Schiavilla, J. W. Van Orden), and their colleagues at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility on a program of studies in one of the following areas of theoretical nuclear physics:

The Old Dominion University Experimental Nuclear Physics group is seeking a postdoctoral associate to support our experimental program at the nearby Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab). The group (consisting of professors M. Amaryan, S. Bueltmann, G. Dodge, C. Hyde, S. Kuhn, and L. Weinstein plus 2 postdocs, 8 graduate students and Jefferson Lab affiliates) is one of the largest research groups at Jefferson Lab.
