The Hall A postdoctoral fellow is expected to take a leadership role in the upcoming Hall A experiments which include: measurements of deeply virtual Compton scattering, nucleon form factors, a series of high impact measurements on 3H and 3He, and parity violation measurements. The postdoctoral fellow will also work alongside the staff scientists on the Hall A High Resolution Spectrometers as well as helping with preparing the Super BigBite spectrometer.

The CEA Paris-Saclay Nucleon Structure Laboratory (LSN) is opening a staff scientist position for an outstanding physicist in the field of experimental hadron physics, with a focus on both the development of the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) project and the experiments using the recent 12GeV upgrade of the Jefferson Lab (US) electron accelerator.

The Canadian Ultracold Neutron (UCN) group is currently accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. The UCN collaboration has constructed and is commissioning a new primary proton beam line at TRIUMF. The spallation target and neutron moderators were installed and first cold neutrons were produced in 2016. This year, the UCN source will be installed and first UCN shall be produced. The group is also engaged in the design and development of the first UCN experiment using this sourcea measurement of the neutron's electric dipole moment (EDM).

The Physics Department at the College of William and Mary invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate in the experimental hadronic physics group to work on the GlueX experiment in Hall D at nearby Jefferson Lab. The successful applicant is expected to take a leadership role in the construction and commissioning of a new DIRC particle identification detector, which will provide kaon identification to search for exotic mesons containing strange quarks.

The Neutrino group at the University of Rochester invites applications for a position as Postdoctoral Research Associate. Our group currently collaborates on the MINERvA, T2K and DUNE experiments. The successful applicant will lead a data analysis from the MINERvA or T2K experiments, and will make a strong and identifiable contribution to the design, prototyping and commissioning of detectors for the DUNE experiment.

The University of Edinburgh nuclear physics group is looking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher in medical physics. The project relates to positron emission tomography (PET) imaging and will involve close collabration with an industrial partner. The post will support the development of a prototype commercial product for PET imaging based on cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) detector technologies.

The University of Washington Department of Physics, in conjunction with its Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics (CENPA), seeks an outstanding individual for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position in experimental nuclear physics. Of particular interest are creative candidates specializing in Fundamental Symmetries or Neutrino Physics, who wish to initiate their own research programs at CENPA, or who already have a leadership role in one of the existing Nuclear Physics Long Range Plan priority programs.
